The comparisons we make and the prices we publish on Bathroom Compare are based on seven model bathrooms: a Cloakroom, 3 Piece Bathroom, 4 Piece Bathroom, Shower Room Bathroom, Shower Room, Ensuite Shower Room & Accessible Bathroom. Our model bathrooms include all of the components required and the prices shown therefore provide a good indication of the retail prices you will pay today for that style of bathroom.

Ensuite Shower Room

En-suite, in translation, means “attached”, “connected” or “in the room” and it’s mostly used when speaking of bathrooms. Essentially, an en-suite bathroom is a private bathroom connected to a bedroom with no other accesses – like from hallway, kitchen or second bedroom. Even though they can be connected to any bedroom, en-suites are mostly part of master bedrooms. The Bathroom Compare en-suite shower room model includes a toilet, toilet seat, a basin and pedestal (where applicable) and a shower enclosure and tray, which we compare across all of the leading bathroom retailers.
